Quinclorac is a selective herbicide used primarily to control weeds in rice crops, but is also used on other agricultural crops and is found in some household herbicides for lawn use. Most lawn maintenance companies use the product for the control of annual grass weeds like crabgrass.

Quinclorac Herbicide can be used on residential or commercial turfs and lawns. It is ideal to use on golf courses (except for collars or greens), sports fields, cemetery properties, sod farms, and other outdoor areas where targeted weeds are found. It is not for use on turfs and lawns that have bahiagrass, carpet grass, St. Augustine grass, centipede grass, dichondra, or where non-targeted clovers are growing. It should not be applied to fine fescue except when it is a part of a seed blend.
